Justin Timberlake to Perform at BET Awards

Justin Timberlake is putting on his suit and tie and heading to the BET Awards. The pop superstar is the latest addition to the star-studded lineup.

The “Mirrors” singer will perform material off his chart-topping album The 20/20 Experience live from the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday, June 30.

BET made the announcement on Twitter. “Justin Timberlake, yes you read right, Justin Timberlake (@Jtimberlake) will be performing at the 2013 #BETAwards!!!!!!!!” tweeted the network.

Timberlake is set to kick off his “Legends of the Summer” tour with Jay-Z on July 17 in Toronto and will release a second part to 20/20 on September 30.

Previously announced performers include Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, Miguel, Kendrick Lamar, and India.Arie.

Chris Tucker will host this year’s show, where Drake leads with 12 nominations.
