Video: 2 Chainz - 'Sacrificing My Life (Mini Series) Part II'

2 Chainz didn’t get where is overnight. The Atlanta rapper explains the strategy behind his game in the second episode of his mini series leading up to the release of his sophomore album B.O.A.T.S. II: MEtime on September 10.

He plays basketball on the court during his “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” tour and speaks about his drive and hunger to win.

“I’ve always been competitive,” says 2 Chainz. “For me, I always felt like I had skills, but there was other starters. It was like an order of seniority. I had to pay dues.”

But it was hard work and dedication that got him where he is today. “I have created a work ethic that commands results.”

He also explains his philosophy of nature vs. nurture. “I’m a nature boy. I did what I had to do to get where I had to get.”
