Earl Sweatshirt and Frank Ocean

Earl Sweatshirt gets “painfully honest” on “Sunday” off his upcoming album Doris, but it’s Frank Ocean’s verse that is getting all the attention. The R&B crooner stunts (“Standing ovation at Staples/ I got my Grammys and gold”) and raps about his fight with Chris Brown on the melodic song.

“They called me soft in high school/ Thank God I’m jagged/ Forgot you don’t like it rough/ I mean he called me a faggot/ I was just calling his bluff/ I mean how anal am I gon’ be when I’m aiming my gun/ And why’s his mug all bloody/ That was a three on one,” he raps.

Doris also features Tyler, the Creator, Domo Genesis, Mac Miller, Vince Staples, and Casey Veggies.

Listen to “Sunday” below and stream the entire album on SoundCloud in advance of its August 20 release.
