TDE Signs Alternative Songstress SZA

Top Dawg Entertainment is welcoming its first female to the family. The hip-hop label behind Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q has announced the signing of alternative songstress SZA.

The singer introduced herself in a video posted online. According to the YouTube description, SZA is known for her “airy coos and glitter-trappings.”

“I couldn’t be more blessed to be part of such an immensely talented, honorable,and dangerously creative family THANK YOU,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, SZA dropped a new song called “Teen Spirit” produced by 16-year-old Jay Z producer WondaGurl (“Crown”). Her See.SZA.Run EP was released last year, while her new Z EP is due this fall.
