Janelle Monáe

On the eve of her album release, Janelle Monáe stopped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” for a thrilling performance. Clad in black and white, the petite singer filled the room with her electric energy as she performed her single “Dance Apocalyptic” with her band. She danced on stage and on top of Letterman’s desk before running into the audience and letting her hair down.

You can see Janelle live when “The Electric Lady” tour kicks off on Oct. 13 in Philadelphia.

Watch her light up late night.
