Mateo Cooks Up Kitchen Cover of Drake's 'Hold On, We're Going Home'

  /  09.10.2013

Mateo puts a fresh spin on Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” The Cincinnati crooner, who’s covered Lady Gaga, Kanye West, and Jay Z, gets creative and uses items found around the kitchen for his remix.

He dances around while dueting with singer Maxine Ashley, while his friends use a cabinet, glass mug, faucet, blender, and even an iPad (courtesy of Kerry “Krucial” Brothers) as instruments.

Mateo’s EP We’ve Met Before is available now featuring a remake of Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me.”

If you’re in L.A., check him out at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood on Oct. 7, 14, and 21. Tickets are on sale now.
