Nas Performs 'You Wouldn't Understand' on 'The Arsenio Hall Show'

Arsenio Hall returned to late night this week with some help from Nas. Following performances from Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller, the hip-hop icon was the musical guest on the third episode of “The Arsenio Hall Show.” With some help from Victoria Monet, he performed “You Wouldn’t Understand” off his 2012 album Life Is Good.

The talk show host explained how Nas’ lyrics inspired him to write the theme song for his new show, while Nas returned the compliment.

“Arsenio Hall is the official king of late night television,” said Nas, who turns 40 on Saturday. “I’ve been watching you since I was a young boy and you have the best show in the world, so this is a big deal to me. I’m honored to be here.”
