After wrapping his “What Dreams May Come” tour last month, J. Cole delivered an encore performance during “Live on Letterman.” He dug into his catalog during the mini-concert, which was streamed online.

He also taped a performance of his single “Crooked Smile” for “The Late Show with David Letterman.” Accompanied by a string section, the Roc Nation MC commanded the stage with the empowering song off his sophomore album Born Sinner.

He will kick off the European leg of his tour on Nov. 10.

Watch Cole bring his “Crooked Smile” to “Letterman.”
