Childish Gambino Debuts 'Shadows' on 'Arsenio'

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino sat down on the couch with Arsenio for an interview and performance on Tuesday. The former “Community” star opened up about his departure from the NBC show, his headline-making Instagram letters, insecurities, and hopes for the future.

“I can rap, but I don’t think I’m a rapper,” he said. “I think a lot of people thought I was just leaving [the show] to like be a rapper, but I think that’s kinda dumb. Rappers don’t want to be rappers.”

While sitting on the couch, he also debuted his new song “Shadows” off his upcoming sophomore album, because the internet, due Dec. 10.
