Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt

Hip-hop and video games collided at Spike TV’s VGX 2013 (formerly known as Video Game Awards) in L.A. last night. Hosted by Joel McHale and Geoff Keighley, the three-hour show featured the music of “Grand Theft Auto V,” with performances from The Game, Freddie Gibbs, and Jay Rock.

Dressed in a black fur coat, Tyler, the Creator took the stage with Earl Sweatshirt and other members of his crew to perform “Garbage” off The Music of Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack. He removed his coat to reveal an oversized red blazer and went shirtless in the final moments of the performance.

“BOUT TO TROLL AND LOOK LIKE A DAMN FOOL ON THIS AWARD SHOW! I LOVE THIS SHIT AHHHHH!” tweeted Tyler.
