Salaam Remi and Akon Perform 'One in the Chamber' on 'Leno'

Salaam Remi made his debut performance as an artist on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Tuesday. The super-producer behind hits for Amy Winehouse and Nas was joined by Akon while performing the title track off his album One: In the Chamber. Akon held down vocals, while Salaam played the electric upright bass.

The project, which also features Ne-Yo, Estelle, and Jordin Sparks, is nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammys. Digital copies are now available on iTunes, with a physical release scheduled for March 24.

Just before the holidays, Akon released his Konkrete Jungle mixtape to iTunes featuring collaborations with E-40 and Yo Gotti.
