Ciara Announces Pregnancy on 'The View'
Ciara has been quiet about her pregnancy, but she’s finally ready to tell the world. During her appearance on “The View” on Tuesday, the “Body Party” singer put the rumors to rest and announced that she and Future are expecting their first child together.
Barbara Walters asked her, “There have been rumors about pregnancy. Do you want to confirm?” to which she replied, “Of course, I would love to.”
Ciara stood up and proudly showed off her baby bump as the audience applauded and Sherri Shepherd touched her stomach.
Ciara and Future got engaged in October 2013. This will be the 28-year-old singer’s first child. Her fiancé Future, 30, has three kids, ages 1, 4, and 11, from previous relationships.
Their friends celebrated the news. “Congrats @ciara and @1future!!!!!!” tweeted Nicki Minaj, while K. Michelle added, “Congrats to @ciara on her bundle of joy. Always smiling and sweet,when I see u. Happy 4u!”
