In the midst of all his legal troubles, Justin Bieber turns the focus back on his music.
While he may have thousands of female fans, the pop heartthrob has his eye on only one in the video for his Journals single “Confident.” He chases after his sexy co-star and performs some slick moves in the Colin Tilley-directed clip, which was shot at night in Chinatown.
The 19-year-old singer flirts and uses a corny pick-up line, but she plays hard to get. He later runs into her at a party, but this time, she’s unable to resist his charm.
The video also stars Chicago MC Chance the Rapper, who makes his VEVO debut.
In addition to premiering his video, the Biebs plead not guilty to charges stemming from his DUI arrest in Miami. He is also expected to be charged with criminal assault after an alleged attack on a limo driver in December.
