New Music: Kelis - 'Rumble'

  /  02.10.2014

Food

Prior to the release of her album Food, Kelis serves up another tasty appetizer with “Rumble.” Despite its title, the song takes a more understated approach, as a conflicted Kelis sings about a complicated relationship with her lover.

“We have so much history / I hurt you, you hurt me / Now we don’t need therapy / What I need is you to leave,” she coos.

Due April 22, Food also features the single “Jerk Ribs,” with production from Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio.
