With Isaiah Rashad and ScHoolboy Q out the gate, SZA is up next. On April 8, TDE’s First Lady will release her new album Z featuring “Julia” and the DJ Dahi-produced “Babylon,” which kicks off with an intro from Mac Miller.

In the accompany video, which she co-directed with APLUSFILMZ, the New Jersey songstress gets baptized, laying out her belongings before stripping down and taking a plunge in the lake.

“This is probably the hardest I’ve ever worked on anything in my entire life,” SZA told Rap-Up TV of Z. “This might be the first thing I’ve ever been proud of—ever.”

In anticipation of her upcoming album, she will perform at several showcases during SXSW in Austin, Texas, next week.

Witness SZA’s rebirth in the powerful video.
