Aloe Blacc, Young Money Make Top 10 Debuts

Rick Ross has been dethroned from the top of the charts, while Aloe Blacc and Young Money make top 10 debuts this week.

Disney’s Frozen soundtrack reclaims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, selling 99,000 copies. It also becomes the first album to sell a million units in 2014.

Last week’s chart-topper, Rick Ross’ Mastermind, falls to No. 3 with 49,000.

Pharrell Williams’ G I R L drops 2-5 in its second week with 45,000.

Led by the hit single “The Man,” Aloe Blacc’s third album Lift Your Spirit enters at No. 4 with over 45,000 copies. His last project, Good Things, was released in 2010 and didn’t chart on the Billboard 200.

Young Money scores its second top 10 album with Rise of an Empire, which lands at No. 7 with 31,000. The crew’s 2009 compilation We Are Young Money entered at No. 9 with 142,000.
