Nicki Minaj Grants Young Cancer Patient's Wish

Nicki Minaj showed just how big her heart is by making one young fan’s dream come true. Five-year-old Damiyah Telemaque-Nelson was diagnosed with cancer in October, and her wish was to meet Nicki and get one of her pink wigs.

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall heard about Miyah’s story and made it his mission to make her dream come true. He used his celebrity to get Nicki’s attention, taking to social media to rally his followers.

“Fans I need your help to get my buddy Miyah’s wish granted. She’s a 5 year old battling cancer and her wish is to meet @NickiMinaj and get one of her pink wigs! I need your help, comment on this photo. Let’s get Miyah’s one of Nicki’s pink wigs!” wrote Wall.

It wasn’t long before Nicki responded with an Instagram post of her own. “Hi Miyah!!!!” she said. “Let’s see what we can come up with for a pretty little princess. ;)”

On Sunday, Nicki met the young Barb and presented her with her very own pink wig. In return, Miyah gave Nicki a bracelet.

“Looks like operation #helpMiyahMeetNicki was a success! #PinkWig4Miyah ~ Thank you @john_wall 😉 she’s perfect!” said Nicki.
