Turn the lights out. Following Ed Sheeran’s acoustic cover of “Drunk in Love,” John Mayer performed a stripped-down version of Beyoncé’s “XO” during a show in Adelaide, Australia, on Tuesday. The Grammy winner played the guitar and the harmonica while giving Bey’s hit an acoustic makeover.

He also tweeted his praise for Bey. “The best thing about Beyoncé? The break in her voice on the first ‘baby, love me lights out’ in XO. Real and raw,” he said.
