The Diary

Jay Dee lives on. On May 6, Pay Jay Productions will release a 12-inch vinyl EP from the late Detroit producer called Give ‘Em What They Want.

Produced in 2002 by J Dilla and Supa Dave West, the five tracks include “The Doe,” “No One’s Home,” and the title track, as well as two instrumentals.

The previously unreleased material is off his long-lost album The Diary, a collection of unheard J Dilla recordings from the early 2000s.

Push play on Dilla’s unearthed gem below.
