Mission

Tetsuo season is upon us. Lupe Fiasco is finally ready to unleash “Mission,” the first single off his upcoming album Tetsuo and Youth. The Chicago rapper has unveiled the illustrated cover art, which was designed by artist Hebru Brantley.

“This song meant a lot to me and I’m happy to be apart of this project,” said Brantley.

Lupe has also set up a website, WeAreOnAMission.org, with a countdown to the premiere on Monday, May 19.

His fifth album Tetsuo and Youth is due later this year. “I must say it is a thematic & utterly lyrical masterclass,” said Lupe of the follow-up to 2012’s Food & Liquor II. “A grand result of 15 years of trial & error and dedication to the craft.”
