Five years after selling out his first show in Houston, Drake returned to where it all began. Following his appearance at the Astros game on Thursday, the Canadian rapper headlined a show at Warehouse Live as part of Houston Appreciation Weekend. He was joined onstage by some of H-town’s finest including Slim Thug, Lil Keke, and Yungstar.

Lil Flip and Trae Tha Truth got the crowd warmed up before Drake hit the stage with “Draft Day” and “We Made It,” launching into songs off his debut Thank Me Later including “Karaoke” and “Miss Me.”

Travi$ Scott joined him for “Upper Echelon,” and he performed his remix to “2 On” with Tinashe and OB OBrien. Compton’s own YG brought some West Coast flavor with a performance of “Who Do You Love?”

The crowd went wild when Big Sean emerged for his verse on “All Me.”

“This guy right here has done so much for me over the course of my life,” Drake said of the Detroit MC. “If he needs me to perform at a three-year-old’s birthday party for nine hours, I’ll do that shit. I’ll fly anywhere in the world for this ni**a, I’ll do anything for this ni**a.”

Wiz Khalifa blazed the stage with his anthem “We Dem Boyz,” and Drake smoked with him for the first time onstage.

“I’ve never done this in my life before during a show,” said Drake as he puffed from Wiz’ joint.

He delivered crowd favorites including “0 to 100” and “Worst Behavior,” but it was the Houston-inspired “November 18th” that drew the biggest response.
