  /  06.16.2014

Tryna Wife

R&B newcomer Jo’zzy makes her formal introduction with some help from veterans Timbaland and Ma$e. The self-proclaimed “singer disguised as a rapper,” who hails from Memphis, crafts a new anthem for all the independent women, who don’t need a man to take care of themselves.

Produced by Wizz Dumb, the ’90s throwback joint features ad libs from Timbo and a verse from the Harlem OG.

“I don’t need him / He needs me more,” sings Jo’zzy, who has worked with Missy Elliott, Teyana Taylor, and Agnez Mo.

The song will hit iTunes on June 23. Listen below.
