Iggy Azalea has scored a “Fancy” new gig. The Aussie rap sensation has been named host of MTV’s “House of Style.”
The revived series, which originally premiered in 1989 with host Cindy Crawford, will chronicle the connection between fashion and music and introduce viewers to designers, celebrity trendsetters, emerging trends, and more.
I-G-G-Y will take viewers to L.A.’s best vintage stores with Jeremy Scott to music video sets with Rita Ora.
The new season premieres August 4 on MTV.com and Iggy promises it will be “wild, crazy, fun, and fascinating all at the same time.”
The blonde bombshell is up for seven nominations at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards including Video of the Year for her No. 1 hit “Fancy.”
Following the VMAs on August 24, she will appear in a “House of Style” VMA fashion special on August 26 at 7 p.m. EST.
