Ciara and Future Call Off Engagement
Another one bites the dust. Ciara and Future have called it quits.
According to TMZ, the singer, 28, and rapper, 30, ended their engagement and are going their separate ways.
Ciara reportedly broke it off after claims that Future was cheating on her while on tour.
The couple got engaged in October after dating for a year. They have a 3-month-old son, Future Zahir. Ciara currently has the child and intends to get custody.
The two collaborated on Ciara’s self-titled album, and had been making wedding plans prior to the breakup.
“I’m happy. I’m with somebody that makes me feel very comfortable,” Ciara previously said, while Future added, “This the one. … I said it seven years ago so for it to come around and it happen, it was just meant to be.”
Neither has acknowledged the breakup publicly, but the new mom has been back at work. She posted photos of herself in the studio with Dr. Luke and at a taping for MTV’s “House of Style.”
