Fergie Rides with YG in 'L.A.LOVE' Video
From Hacienda Heights to Hollywood, Fergie took over the streets of L.A. while shooting a video for her DJ Mustard-produced single “L.A.LOVE (la la)” over the weekend. The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman loaded up her tricked-out double-decker “love bus” with friends and rode through her ‘hood.
She paid homage to her L.A. roots with lowriders, cholas, and Compton’s own YG, who is featured on the remix. Sevyn Streeter, Kelly Osbourne, and Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog tagged along for the ride, while Fatima Robinson (“Fergalicious”) directed the clip.
“Hanging with my boy, @YG on the #LALOVE set. #MLKblvd,” tweeted Fergie.
She is working with Mike WiLL Made-It, Rae Sremmurd, and will.i.am on her first solo album in eight years.
“I am a student. I study the evolution of music, from Kendrick to Mustard, L.A. had an explosion. I needed to be a part of it,” Fergie told Power 106.
