Mariah Carey

‘Tis the season for Mariah Carey. The pop diva will spread some cheer in the Big Apple this holiday season with a series of Christmas concerts.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of her best-selling Christmas album Merry Christmas, the “queen of Christmas” has announced her first annual Christmas extravaganza entitled “All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity.”

The four shows will take place at the Beacon Theatre in her hometown of New York City on December 15, 16, 18, and 20. She will perform classics off her album Merry Christmas, which has sold over 14 million copies to date, and the 2010 follow-up, Merry Christmas II You.

“I can’t imagine being anywhere more special than live on stage, in my hometown, celebrating with my fans during the Christmas season, my most treasured time of the year,” said Mariah. “I can’t wait!”

Mimi is currently on her “Elusive Chanteuse Show” world tour, which traveled throughout Asia and Australia, and wraps November 16 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Tickets go on sale to the public on November 10 at 12 p.m. Honey B. Fly fanclub members will have access to the pre-sale beginning November 3 at 10 a.m. EST.
