Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo is kicking off the new year with a new album. The R&B crooner has announced a release date for his sixth album Non-Fiction.

After a few delays, the follow-up to 2012’s R.E.D. will now arrive on January 27, 2015. He shared the news with fans while on stage at Project Club L.A.’s “Pre-Thanksgiving Bash” on Wednesday.

The album has spawned the Jeezy-assisted single “Money Can’t Buy” and the strip club banger “She Knows” featuring Juicy J. It is also set to feature ScHoolboy Q on the Salaam Remi-produced “Run.”

“I came on home with this one,” Ne-Yo told “The Breakfast Club.” “This album is 99.999998% R&B, meaning I can’t completely abandon that fanbase ’cause they kept the lights on for a very long time. I still got some stuff that can live in that [pop] world, but there’s so much R&B on this album.”

He can also be heard on Pitbull’s latest single “Time of Our Lives” off his new album Globalization.
