Kanye West Celebrates Big Sean's Success: 'You're on God's Path'
Big Sean is destined for greatness, according to Kanye West. In a rare behind-the-scenes clip from the studio (via REVOLT), the G.O.O.D. Music chief advises his protégé that he should release “Blessings” as the follow-up to his smash “I Don’t Fuck With You.”
“You a big artist now,” ‘Ye tells the Detroit MC. “‘I Don’t Fuck With You’ is only gonna get bigger if you drop this song with you, Drake, and me. If you drop that shit, that’s just gonna give you more legs. Ni**as is gonna be salivating.”
Pusha T, who also happens to be in the studio, concurs with ‘Ye.
“Everything is happening for a reason. This shit is lining up beautiful—synergy,” adds Kanye. “You’re on God’s path, man, and only success can happen to you now.”
Sean obviously took his mentor’s advice and dropped the song last week.
“Blessings” can be found on Sean’s third album Dark Sky Paradise, due Feb. 24.
