Lil Wayne Announces 'The Free Weezy Album'

  /  02.05.2015

While Tha Carter V awaits a release date, Lil Wayne stays on his grind. The Young Money chief has revealed plans for his next project, The Free Weezy Album.

He took to Twitter early Thursday morning (Feb. 5) to announce the free album and said that it was “coming soon.”

The news comes just two weeks after Wayne dropped his free mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2 featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, Christina Milian, Shanell, and Mack Maine.

DJ Drama also hinted that he was working on Dedication 6, the sixth installment in his Dedication mixtape series.

In the meantime, Wayne continues to wage a legal battle against Birdman. He has filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money for his release and plans to take his artists with him.
