The Queen rises again. Mary J. Blige debuts the video for her new single “Doubt” off her critically-acclaimed album The London Sessions. In the simple yet powerful clip, MJB makes her way to the stage in an empty theater while belting out the triumphant tune, produced by Rodney Jerkins and Sam Romans. But by the end, she’s playing to a full house.
“You think you beat me down, but I’ll have the last laugh / I’ll keep getting up because that’s what I’m gonna do,” she sings.
Last night, Mary guest starred on Fox’s hit drama “Empire.” She performed “Shake Down” with Terrence Howard, which appears on the show’s soundtrack.
