New Music: Kendrick Lamar - 'King Kunta'

Kendrick Lamar is here for the crown. The West Coast kingpin brings the funk on “King Kunta” off his upcoming album To Pimp a Butterfly. The track, which Rolling Stone compared to the theme song to a ’70s blaxploitation flick, features a funky instrumental and some unapologetic bars from K-Dot.

“I got a bone to pick / I don’t want you monkey-mouth motherfu**ers sittin’ in my throne again,” he declares.
