New Music: Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars feat. Trinidad Jame$ - 'Uptown Funk (Remix)'

  /  03.13.2015

Hot damn. While “Uptown Funk” spends its 10th week at No. 1, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars debut the official remix featuring Trinidad Jame$, whose single “All Gold Everything” inspired the hook. The Atlanta rapper is feeling himself on his suave verse, which includes references to MC Hammer, Eddie Murphy, and Queen Bey.

“I’ma A-town player turned uptown pimp / You see this whip / Eddie Murphy red leather, pants on Hammer / I’m too legit … Even Beyoncé want this sh*t,” he raps.

He also shouts out Def Jam, who dropped him from the label last year (“Thank Def Jam for that money”).

Hear Trinidad blow up the spot on the remix.
