Ariana Grande Covers Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing'

  /  04.09.2015

In addition to flirting with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande set off sparks with another performance during her “Honeymoon Tour” stop at L.A.’s Forum on Wednesday. The pop powerhouse brought out “one of the most incredible songwriters of all time,” David Foster. While perched on top of a piano, Ariana belted out a rousing cover of Whitney Houston’s 1993 single “I Have Nothing” off The Bodyguard soundtrack, which Foster wrote and produced.

“We’re gonna do one of my favorite songs of all time that I actually grew up [singing],” she told the crowd. “It was my go-to song to sing at the gay bar, karaoke bar, anywhere.”

Ariana admitted to being nervous, but her flawless vocals proved otherwise. “This is such a surreal experience,” she said.

Watch Ariana pay homage to Whitney with her beautiful rendition.
