Young Thug Delays 'Slime Season' Mixtape

  /  07.03.2015

Young Thug won’t be poppin’ off this Fourth of July. The Rich Gang rapper has delayed the release of his mixtape Slime Season.

The follow-up to April’s Barter 6 was supposed to drop on Independence Day, but it no longer has a release date. He informed his fans of the news on Twitter, writing, “Bad news #SlimeSeason will not come out tomorrow.”

Thugger originally planned to release his mixtape the same day as his idol-turned-rival Lil Wayne’s Free Weezy Album, which is still slated for release tomorrow.

Instead, Young Thug will drop a new song called “Again,” which was produced by London On Da Track.

“#SlimeSeason Otw Sorry 4 The Wait!” he promised his fans.
