Before she brings her “Pinkprint” tour to the U.S. later this month, Nicki Minaj paid a return visit to the U.K. for Wireless Festival on Sunday. But the 32-year-old rapper almost didn’t make it. She was scheduled to take the stage between 7 and 8 p.m., but didn’t show until after 9 p.m. due to travel issues.
However, she made up for her tardiness by appearing during David Guetta’s set. Taking the stage in a black bra and thong under a fishnet bodysuit, Nicki performed a 30-minute medley of her biggest hits including “Feeling Myself,” “Super Bass,” and “Anaconda.”
She addressed the reason for her delay. “Our plane couldn’t get out because of the weather,” she told the crowd at London’s Finsbury Park. “But I want to tell you how much I fuckin’ love ya’ll. I want to tell you how much I appreciate you guys for showing Young Money love from day one.”
Some fans took to Twitter to demand a refund, but all was forgotten once Nicki showed up.
