With his album set to debut at No. 1, Meek Mill paid a visit to DJ Self on Power 105.1 this week. The Dreamchasers rapper went off the dome and spit a freestyle over Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm (Remix),” Future’s “Fuck Up Some Commas,” and Young Dolph’s “Preach.”
He also addressed his prison stint, album sales, and relationship with Nicki Minaj. “Did five months, came home, and got smarter / First week 200 thous off the rip / Touched down and I bagged Nicki off the rip / Put that big heart on her finger, yeah, that’s my chick / No, I don’t call her bitch ’cause she a young queen from Queens.”
Meek’s album Dreams Worth More Than Money will top the Billboard 200 with around 215,000 copies, according to HITS.
