The Weeknd Claims Top 3 Spots on R&B Songs Chart

  /  07.15.2015

The Weeknd is making chart history. The Canadian crooner becomes the first artist to score the top three slots on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart.

“The Hills” rises 4-2, “Earned It” remains at No. 3, and “Can’t Feel My Face” sits at No. 1 (it’s also No. 3 on the Hot 100).

“The Hills” also reaches a new high with 11.8 million streams in the U.S. during the week ending July 9.

Robin Thicke is the only other artist to have occupied two out of the top three spots on the chart when “Blurred Lines” and “Give It 2 You” were No. 1 and 3 for three weeks in 2013.

Both “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” can be found on The Weeknd’s upcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness, due Aug. 28.
