Future L.A. Show Canceled After Crowd Shuts Down Sunset Blvd.
Freebandz shut down the Sunset Strip. Future’s free show in Los Angeles was canceled after the Future Hive showed out in droves on Thursday (July 23).
After tweeting the venue earlier in the day, fans lined up at The Roxy in West Hollywood, hoping to score a wristband to the midnight show. However, they didn’t anticipate the demand—the venue’s capacity is 500, but way more showed up.

The large crowd filled the sidewalk and spilled onto Sunset Blvd. According to ABC 7, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 1 p.m. to control traffic and monitor the crowd.

The free concert is the last in Future’s four-city “Salute the Fans” series, which has already traveled to Atlanta, Chicago, and New York.
Future is promoting his album Dirty Sprite 2, which is expected to debut at No. 1 on next week’s charts.
