World, get ready for Nef the Pharaoh. He’s a native of Vallejo, in the Bay Area, and he’s been bubbling for the last few months with his underground hit “Big Tymin.” The name makes an intriguing reference to old-school New Orleans hip-hop—think Big Tymers and Cash Money.

While the song’s been a street hit on the West Coast for a minute, expect to hear it bumping nationally now that we’ve got the official remix, released as part of Ty Dolla $ign’s #FreeMyHomieFriday. Joining Nef on the track are none other than Ty and YG, two of the game’s most dynamic hitmakers.

Ty lends his golden vocal chords on the chorus, while YG offers a nimble verse that touches on his recent shooting. “Ay, they say I’m brazy, I got shot and left the hospital the same day,” he raps, continuing, “I got hit in the hip but I walk the same way…they tried to take me for my newborn baby.”
