Carpe diem. Alicia Keys seizes the day on her brand new single “28 Thousand Days.” R&B’s superwoman encourages you to live life to its fullest on the uplifting anthem, which is a reference to the average life span of a human (76 years).

“There’s only 28,000 days / Who would you love, where would you go, what would you celebrate / I’m tellin’ you that life’s too short to just throw it away / So have the time of your life,” she sings over blaring horns.

Alicia has been in the studio with Pharrell and Swizz Beatz working on her first album since 2012’s Girl on Fire. “I’ve been dyin’ to share this new music with you! And this is just the beginning believe me!!” she said.
