If there’s one thing everybody in hip-hop can agree on, it’s that nothing sounds better than Ty Dolla $ign on a chorus. He’s the go-to troubadour for rappers trying to give their sound a hint of golden-voiced melody.
Ace Hood is the latest to enlist Dolla $ign for “I Know How It Feel,” the first single from his forthcoming album Beast of the South, which will be released on DJ Khaled’s label We the Best Music.
Produced by Ben Billions and Schife Karbeen, it’s a contemplative anthem with delicate synth trills—Ace Hood takes the opportunity to reflect on his transition from street hustle to wealth in verses slathered in Auto-Tune.
