Janet Jackson Teases New Song 'The Great Forever'

In 11 days, Janet Jackson will kick off her “Unbreakable World Tour.” But first, she has teased a brand new song on her Twitter page. Titled “The Great Forever,” the 24-second snippet finds Ms. Jackson singing over a skipping beat, produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

She also shared some of the lyrics: “Watch what I’m doing / Watch where I’m going / Tryin’ to get to The Great Forever / Forever is the truth.”

The lyric sheet says “From Unbreakable,” which may be the title of her upcoming 11th studio album, due this fall on Rhythm Nation Records/BMG. So far, it has spawned the J. Cole-assisted single “No Sleeep,” which reached No. 1 on the Adult R&B Songs chart.

Janet’s “Unbreakable World Tour” launches Aug. 31 in Vancouver. In addition to the U.S., she will travel to Japan in November.
