2015 MTV Video Music Awards: Red Carpet
The stars descended upon the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (Aug. 30). Not only did the show bring the outrageousness, the red carpet was filled with wild moments.
Host Miley Cyrus set the tone for the evening, wearing a scandalous outfit that barely covered her breasts. Nicki Minaj looked like a golden goddess on the carpet before heading inside to open the show.
Taylor Swift arrived with her “Bad Blood” co-stars including Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez, Serayah, Gigi Hadid, and Mariska Hargitay.
Amber Rose and Blac Chyna challenged stereotypes by wearing derogatory words like “bitch,” “gold digger,” and “slut” on their outfits.
“We basically wanted to paint a picture of what everybody kinda already says about us,” said Rose. “They call us sluts and whores all the time, so we wanted to embrace it. I have slut written across my vagina. I wish I was a whore—my social life would be more exciting.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen came to support Video Vanguard recipient Kanye West, while Miguel arrived with his girlfriend Nazanin Mandi.
