“The Real” kicked off its second season with a performance from Tamar Braxton. In addition to co-hosting, the R&B diva hit the stage to debut her new song “King.” Perched under chandeliers and atop a piano in a shimmering silver dress, she belted out the ballad off her upcoming album Calling All Lovers.
She decided not to perform her new single “Catfish.” “I couldn’t see myself twerking to #Catfish on THAT show!” she told one fan.
Calling All Lovers drops Oct. 2. “This album is a blessing I thought I would NEVER have. Love and War wasn’t ‘supposed’ to happen,” said Tamar. “I was written off & forgotten about. But for some reason God saw fit. And so I HAVE to look at THIS album as an extension to his blessings.”
In addition to “The Real,” you can catch Tamar on the new season of “Dancing with the Stars,” which premieres tonight.
