Sneak Peek: August Alsina feat. Lil Wayne - 'Why I Do It'

August Alsina and Lil Wayne having been stacking their collaborations. Last week, the New Orleans natives connected in the video for Juicy J’s “Miss Mary Mack,” and now they join forces yet again in the Payne Lindsey-directed video for August’s new single “Why I Do It.”

In the 30-second teaser (via Lil Wayne HQ), which was shot in New Orleans, both artists perform in the booth and in front of dramatic stage lights, while animated effects pepper the screen. The song itself has an uptempo horn-driven beat with a smooth chorus from August.

Look for it on his sophomore album This Thing Called Life, due later this year.
