Kendrick Lamar Prank Calls Jay Rock

Jay Rock got quite a surprise when he answered a phone call on-air at Power 106 in L.A. At first, the call seemed to come from an adoring female fan—”I like ’em tall, dark, and handsome,” the caller told Rock, before asking for his number. “You know I don’t give my number out on-air,” responded Rock, telling the fan to “hit me up on Tinder.”

Suddenly the caller’s voice shifted, revealing their true identity—it was Kendrick Lamar. “What up K-Dot!” laughed Rock. “You a fool!”

When asked how he felt about watching Rock’s album 90059 finally see release, Kendrick said, “It felt good, watching the growth.”

Rock “has always been the big bro,” he added.
