Stevie Wonder Does Carpool Karaoke with James Corden
Following Mariah Carey, A$AP Rocky, and Justin Bieber, the legendary Stevie Wonder joined “Late Late Show” host James Corden for some Carpool Karaoke. Corden looked apprehensive at first, as Wonder sat in the driver’s seat. He remembered that he “forgot” his license so Corden took the wheel. Once they got on the road, Wonder belted a few favorites including “Superstition,” “Sir Duke,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” and “For Once in My Life.”
He also called Corden’s wife and sang her a rendition of “I Just Called to Say I Love You,” at which point Corden tried to hold back tears.
But when Corden tried to learn the harmonica, Stevie advised him against it—”Don’t touch the harmonica, ever.”
He even joked about starting a group with Corden called the Wondercats. For their first order of business, they switched up the lyrics to Stevie’s classic “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” Next up, a world tour?
