Video: Mac Miller - 'Brand Name'

  /  09.17.2015

With his major-label debut GO:OD AM now available, Mac Miller celebrates by dropping a video for “Brand Name.” In the cinematic clip, which was inspired by The Truman Show, the Pittsburgh rapper gets a reality check. He plays a family man, whose every move is being watched by the public. He is initially unaware that his life is a reality television show, but soon discovers the truth.

The New York Times praised GO:OD AM, calling it “one of the most musically appealing hip-hop LPs of the year.”

As part of his release week, Mac is hosting a series of events in his hometown and will play record release shows in Pittsburgh (9/20), Los Angeles (9/22), and San Francisco (9/23) before launching his “GO:OD AM Tour” in October.
