A$AP Rocky appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last week and performed a handful of songs. In addition to sharing the stage with ScHoolboy Q on “Electric Body,” Pretty Flacko brought out Bones and rapped his way through their At.Long.Last.A$AP collaboration “Canal St.”
The backing band does an admirable job of capturing the song’s creepy atmosphere, an effect amplified by Bones crouched on the front of the stage in fetal position, emerging only to pop up and start head-banging and screaming through his verse. His grungy image strikes a contrast with Rocky’s smooth rockstar persona. He elicits screams from teenage girls in the crowd when he subtly grabs his crotch, like a young Elvis.
