New Music: Jhené Aiko - 'In a World of My Own / Very Good Advice'
Disney has put together a star-studded lineup for its We Love Disney compilation. Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Gwen Stefani, Tori Kelly, Fall Out Boy, and more have reinterpreted classic Disney songs, which they chose themselves. Following Ne-Yo’s “Friend Like Me” cover, Jhené Aiko takes on “In a World of My Own / Very Good Advice” from her favorite Disney film, Alice in Wonderland.
Her stripped-down version features Aiko’s subtle vocals, with soundbites from Disney’s 1951 animated classic.
Aiko created her own Wonderland in L.A. last week with a mysterious pop-up show called Aiko in Wonderland. During the free concert, she also previewed new material in the form of a “dark introspective single” titled “Still.”
We Love Disney will be available Oct. 30.
